Overview
EVDN PTY LTD ("EVDN", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with this corporate website and direct enquiries. Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies to us, we handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
EVDN products, including Reckon3PL, may have separate privacy notices describing their product-specific data practices. Those notices apply in addition to this policy when you use those products.
Kinds of information we collect and hold
When you contact us, we may collect your name, work email address, company, the subject of your enquiry, your message, and any other information you choose to provide. Our website hosting infrastructure may also generate technical records such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and the date and time of a request for security, reliability and diagnostic purposes.
How we collect and hold information
We collect information directly from you when you correspond with us, and automatically through the technical operation of our website. We hold information in the systems used to operate our website and manage business communications. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
Why we collect, use and disclose information
We use personal information to respond to and manage enquiries, assess requests for beta access or partnerships, maintain the security and reliability of the website, keep appropriate business records, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use information supplied in a direct enquiry for unrelated marketing unless we have permission or another lawful basis to do so.
Service providers and disclosure
We use GitLab Pages to host and deliver this website. Where the contact form is enabled, we use Formspreeto receive and manage submissions. Information entered in that form is sent to and stored in our Formspree account and may be delivered to our nominated email address. We do not sell personal information. We may also disclose information to providers that support our website hosting, email and business operations, and to professional advisers, regulators or authorities where reasonably necessary or required by law. We limit disclosures to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
Overseas disclosure
Where the contact form is enabled, contact-form information is processed by Formspree using infrastructure in the United States and may also be processed in other countries where Formspree or its service providers operate. Other service providers may also store or process information outside Australia. The countries involved can change with provider locations and routing. You may contact us for current information about the locations relevant to your personal information. Where the APPs apply, we take reasonable steps required by law before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including applicable legal, accounting and dispute-resolution requirements. We then delete or de-identify it where required and reasonably practicable.
Access and correction
You may ask to access personal information we hold about you or request that inaccurate information be corrected by emailing privacy@evdn.au. Please identify yourself and describe the information concerned. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain why where required by law and tell you about available complaint options.
Privacy complaints
To make a privacy complaint, email privacy@evdn.au with details of your concern. We will acknowledge the complaint, investigate it, and aim to provide a written response within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be entitled to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
